The first OSPREY LONDON leather belt was made in a hayloft in Hertfordshire back in 1980. Today we are delighted to introduce you to an archive inspired piece, with eye-catching cross-stitch detailing in yellow and chocolate waxed thread.
A statement design, it is 6cm wide, crafted using traditional saddlery techniques. This natural raw edge, handfinished belt is cut from vegetable tanned cowhide, and is then stitched by hand using waxed cotton thread in a cross pattern running along its length with the leather keeper also featuring a yellow and chocolate stitched detail. Finished with a solid brass roller buckle just like the belts we first made forty years ago, and includes five belt notches.
With each of these wide leather belts taking up to four hours in order to create this intricately detailed effect, The Mendoza is a stunning choice and one that we’re sure you’ll treasure for many years to come.

Specifications
OSPREY LONDON leather belt, 6cm wide, handcrafted using traditional saddlery techniques from a single piece of thick, supple, veg tanned Saddle leather, and handstitched using waxed cotton thread in chocolate & yellow in a cross-stitch pattern along the centre.
Traditional solid brass buckle with gently rounded rectangular profile, brass roller and a brass prong.
Features five belt holes.
Smart self-coloured stitching, hand applied edge colour and shaped end tip.
Features a fixed leather keeper with a polo/gaucho design in yellow & chocolate waxed cotton thread.
Belt sizes available (take your normal trouser waist size): 30, 34 and 38 inches. 76, 87, 97 centimetres. 6cm wide.
When not being worn, roll your belt or store loose from the buckle.

Size Guide
We offer gorgeous leather belts to fit a range of waist sizes and show the waist size in centimetres. These belts are designed to fit comfortably on the middle hole, so a 34" belt will also fit someone with a 33" or 35" waist if they move to a higher or lower hole.
The width of the belt and the dimensions of the buckle are both shown in centimetres within the Specifications section of each belt's Product Page: that way you can judge whether it will fit inside the loops on a particular pair of trousers.
