Our Web and Social Media Executive…

- Manages the day to day online activity around our online full price women’s categories, in order to generate maximum sales in line with our sales forecast and brand image

- Creates and curates our brand’s social media presence working closely with internal content providers and with our external marketing agency to promote selected products to a targeted audience.

You will have…

• Previous B2C ecommerce experience, preferably for a luxury fashion or lifestyle brand

• Sound working knowledge of content management systems, preferably Magento

• Experience in using Google Analytics to improve results

• A strong visual understanding of what makes a great image

• First class written English skills

• SEO knowledge

• Strong commercial acumen

• An attention to detail

Your main responsibilities will be…


Women’s Online Category Management:

• Using Google Analytics and online figures to report on product & website performance, and investigate any common issues/suggest amendments to improve stronger conversion or a better user experience

• Home and Landing Pages: putting forward new content suggestions to our Head of Department to improve user experience and conversion levels of key categories/products and maintaining said pages

• Merchandising the key categories daily/as required to ensure the online offer looks fresh and attractive to customers and monitoring effect on sales

• Carrying out regular web trawls to identify areas that can be improved upon and amending as necessary

• Creating new category URL’s on the CMS as required for web promotions and sale events, adding SEO to ensure optimum opportunities are achieved

• Briefing new visuals to our design team for Category Banners and the like

• Removing out of stock items from the CMS, remerchandising relevant categories and administering on internal systems

• Management of our Store Locator website on WordPress

Online Product Launch Management:

• Liaising with the head of department plus product and merchandising teams to build each season’s Critical Path document for all women’s full price online product categories (approx 20), ensuring all necessary action is taken in a timely manner to plan the online launch of any product or promotional activity:

o Creating draft Product Page copy for each new product against the makesheet

o Liaising with the product team to ensure photography samples are available for shooting in a timely fashion

o Uploading approved Product Page copy and visual assets to the CMS in a timely fashion to support an ordered launch

o Informing relevant internal departments of these launches

• Working with the head of department and merchandising on product retirements, either adhoc or in sale events and administering stock levels on the CMS


Still life:

• Organising product photography: creating briefs, collating samples, running shoots and directing photographers, administering shoot paperwork, housekeeping of the internal photography database, photoshopping product imagery (basic level) to ensure consistency and Company standards


• Working with the Head of Department to ensure that all relevant products are available for each season’s model shoots

• Assisting the Head of Department at model shoots to ensure that relevant women’s products are appropriately represented

• Working directly with our videographer at model shoots to ensure that we obtain great footage for usage on our website and in social media posts and the like

 Administering web stock on Prima stock keeping system including:

o Setting up SKU codes and product colours;

o Monitoring prices and amending when required, especially during sale period

o Monitoring stock levels of key lines, requesting further allocations of stock when needed

o Transferring stock to the appropriate warehouse to ensure product can go live/does not go out of stock unnecessarily

Social Media (Organic):

• Liaising with the head of department to create and schedule great, brand-appropriate content for the company’s social media pages (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter)

• Liaising with key store’s social media creators to ensure that store accounts are posting appropriate content to their pages

• Actively building the brand’s social media followers through activities including competitions

• Reporting on social media activity and results on a weekly basis

Social Media (Paid Advertising):

• Working with the head of department and ecommerce manager to ensure that our paid social creative is appropriate to each period within the brand’s promotional cycle

• Weekly liaison with our external paid social media agency to gauge specific campaign performance and then to create/amend creatives to ensure we hit our key metrics
