Function of role 

To ensure all Osprey London stores are merchandised appropriately to help maximise sales in accordance with our brand standards. You will deliver training to stores as well as offering creative ideas and solutions to keep stores looking fresh and exciting.

Location 

National Role – maybe required to spend time away from home as necessary – Luton Head Office when required

Working hours 

37.5 hours Monday – Friday (or as necessitates the role)

Education requirements 

Good standard of education – ideally min A level standard

Experience required 

Visual Merchandising experience

Experience working within a premium brand retail environment

Car driver 

full clean licence

Creative flair with interest in fashion and home

Strong communication skills both written and verbal – ability to train and communicate concepts/ideas

Proactive and flexible approach to work

Attention to detail in both physical forms and processes

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT TO BE CONFINED TO:

1. Store Window Planning

a. Proposing window displays with both premium and outlet programmes around new collections, season promotions and social event calendar. Presenting these to Senior Retail Management Team (SRM)

b. Proposing graphics and working with Graphics Studio to finalise and organise installation of graphics.

c. Organising props as required for window displays

d. Reporting on success relating to footfall of displays

2. Internal VM

a. Regular visits to stores to assess VM in store, make necessary changes, train and report back to SRM the VM standards in store

b. Planning displays around current collections and retail calendar alongside SRM and merchandiser

c. Weekly communication with merchandiser and retail teams to plan changes in store with teams and discuss particular successes/failure in current display

3. Corporate VM

a. Updating VM manual and updating retail teams on changes

b. Proposing improvements and checking standards of brand communication of POS, labelling etc

c. Producing monthly report on VM activity to Directors. Highlighting key information requiring future action plans

4. Broader landscape

a. Researching competitors and local markets for development of broader market knowledge and creative inspiration to create dynamic
