STOCK CONTROLLER / WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Function of the role:

To oversee all administrative processes relating to stock movements in order to ensure high levels of accuracy across all stock areas and to assist the warehouse team with all manual handling work related to goods in and out

Warehouse Manager

Location:

Head Office, 5 Dudley Street, Luton

Working hours:

40 hours Monday- Friday (as necessitates the role)

Education requirements:

Grade C or above in Maths GCSE

Experience required:

A minimum of 1 years’ experience working within an administrative role

Familiarity with a Warehouse environment is advantageous

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT TO BE CONFINED TO:

Stock Management:

  • Administer all stock movements on internal computer system
  • Ensure all received orders are accurately checked, raising any discrepancies to the relevant teams
  • Process all Goods Receipted Notes (GRN’s)
  • Administer the goods in and out movements for all stores weekly allocations
  • Complete weekly stock investigations and discrepancies
  • Assist any Head Office departments with system queries related to stock errors

Stock Take

  • Work with Distribution Manager to effect high level of accuracy in stocktakes
  • Administer and oversee Head Office and Store stock takes

Team Support

  • Goods in duties including unloading deliveries, checking, and putting away accordingly in a tidy and safe manner
  • Effective stock management showing attention to detail to ensure all stock is stored appropriately for picking e.g. same styles, colours etc.
  • Pack deliveries for stores/customers – adhering to instructions to avoid product being damaged
  • Always ensure stock room is kept neat and tidy including clearing cardboard and waste materials from all warehouse areas
  • Arrange waste materials for disposal – e.g. cardboard, pallets etc.
