Email Marketing Executive

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE…

  • Developing and maintaining the welcome programme, reactivation programme and any other programmes recommended by our Head of Brand using the data science from our 3rd party provider, more2
  • Managing the Audience Feed within our email platform, Dotdigital and reporting on growth
  • Segmenting within the Audience Feed to ensure we’re hitting the right customers with the right messages at the right time
  • Based on the ecommerce promotional calendar and direct mail programme, proposing email campaigns for relevant segments, looking specifically at:
    • Category and product sales targets
    • Stock levels of proposed lines
    • Communicating content to the relevant stakeholders i.e. Ecommerce, Customer Services, Merchandising, etc
  • Building the email campaigns from assembling images and copy creation through to links and alt tags, plain text creation, test sending, subject header AB testing, use of dynamic content where appropriate and scheduling. Please note that where optimised sends are applicable, these will need to be activated out of office hours.
  • Reporting and analytics - produce reports on performance of key metrics for campaigns and derive recommendations for future campaign improvements
  • Conduct regular best practice and competitor reviews of email marketing and making recommendations for development

IN ADDITION...

  • You will be responsible for one of our online product categories and will upload copy and images to our website (full training given)
  • Creating web copy specifications for launches, chasing samples & checking against make sheets
  • Main point of contact with our photography house:
  • Booking product shoots & creating briefs
  • Collating samples
  • Attending shoots to ensure output is of the highest standards/fit for purpose
  • Commissioning more complex retouching where basic level in house Photoshopping not sufficient
  • Removing out of stock items from the CMS, remerchandising affected categories and administering on our stock system (Prima)
  • Carrying out regular web trawls to identify errors
  • Referring to Google Analytics to look at performance of products and categories
  • Collating samples and assisting at model photographic shoots as required
  • Monitoring customer behaviour of search bar and ‘you may also likes’

  • Meeting agreed email ‘Open and Click Through’ targets
  • Meeting agreed email conversion rates and revenue
