We’re looking for a dynamic and commercially focused ecommerce manager to grow our online sales. Reporting to our Head of Brand, you’ll be working with our small, hard-working and ambitious young team and managing our agency relationships to ensure that OSPREY LONDON continues to meet and exceed our sales objectives online.


• Overall responsibility for the sales performance of the company online

• In conjunction with line manager & directors, putting a strategy in place to ensure the company’s online revenue continues to increase in line with forecasts

• Providing analytical reports on the sales performance of the website and making proposals for improvement (ongoing): communicating daily sales results and bi-monthly board reports

• Managing development and digital agencies (SEO, PPC) and the associated costs to ensure the company receives excellent value and results

• Proposing initiatives – UX, software upgrades, new digital channels, etc – to help ensure the company’s ecommerce performance continues to improve

• Overseeing the timely and cost effective expansion into new websites i.e. overseas in line with the company’s international plans

• Liaising with the web content team to ensure that all products are optimised effectively and proposing iterative improvements to drive the maximum opportunity for conversion

• Liaising with brand communications team to ensure an ongoing programme of promotion via social media and emails to support the sales forecast

• Day to day management of the brand’s affiliate and re-targeting programmes to drive traffic


• A proven track record in improving a brand’s online sales results

• Experience using Magento Enterprise, version 2 preferable

• Experienced user of Google Analytics and Webmaster tools

• Experience in running SEO, PPC and other digital agencies to drive traffic and conversion

• Knowledge of bulk editing, multi-attribution modelling, bid management, AB testing and Google Adwords

• Previous experience of managing developers/web agencies to ensure maximum performance in line with strategic plan in terms of output delivery, timings and budget

• Strong interest in ecommerce trends to make proposals to ensure our brand continues to offer a great and relevant customer experience, translating into greater sales


• Must be a team player who takes ownership of issues and recommends solutions

• Good presentation skills with strong verbal and written English

• Great attention to detail and a high standard of numeracy

• Analytical thinking with a commercial eye for identifying opportunities to drive sales

• Ability to organise and prioritise a large number of tasks with the skill and ability to delegate

• Flexible, enthusiastic and self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure

• The ability to work on your own initiative and to hit the ground running

• Enjoys working to upskill other team members
